ratings game

I have been looking at the market ratings and found something disturbing. Country is hot in the Seattle and Portland markets. Why is this?

Also how old is Portland’s KWJJ format? Looks like Entercom is trying to make the Buzz into another KWJJ. I see why looking at the ratings.

Country is hot in many, many, many markets...why? Because for the most part it's non-offensive, not tooooo hard on the ears, you can listen to it at work without pissing too many people off, it's not britney, it's not Michael Buble, and many people can relate to the music...make sense?

Hey, Spankybear...fer crissakes will you PLEASE crawl back into your PATPACK message board hole.

You don't know anything about politcs or history and you prove it on the Patpack board.

Don't come over here and start all these threads showing how ignorant you are of broadcasting.

I sure does make since now that you put it in to that light. I just thought that the country fad faded some years ago. Thanks!
