Ratings mean NADA

I caught the tail end of MR.Media guru Mark Mathis co-host of the ratings challenged Mark and Diane flop on KAGM telling listeners that ratings mean basicly NADA. He said you could take a station off the air for an entire book and it would still do well in the ratings.
Hey Mark Listeners do not care about ratings if they like your station they like your station, to them you are #1.
Advertisers of which KAGM has very few, Buy by the book not I am not saying that is the only way they do or should buy but thats the truth.

Now all you guys can sit around the confrence table with the boy wonder GM who has said despite a Larry billboard on every street corner and interstate that nobody knows we are here! and talk about why the ratings do not matter, if they don't then why all the billboards

I hope that if your ratings ever top KOB that you will be true to your word and say on the Air,hey we are #1 in the ratings but as I have said they mean Nothing or as you said today you could air fuzz and get great numbers.

I trust that you and Diane have no bonus if you get good numbers????

OH and could someone teach jessica how to read on the air she sounds like a first grade kid just learning how to read

Maybe we can get them to take it to the next level and start telling people to "fill out those diaries!"... "make sure you write 106.3 in every box".

That might hasten to disintegration process.
 
Let me be the first to say congrats to Mark the book has his KAGM station #24 out of 29 and only a diffrence of 8.2 between kagm and kob a gab which has grown by a point. Now go into the Boy GM's office who has seen all his stations fall in this book and give your ratings don't count talk
