Ratings of 96Rock/Project 9-6-1

Now that 96 Rock is celebrating its second year of being imploded, does anyone know if Project 9-6-1 can be deemed a success or a failure?

Casually looking at the 12+ numbers, it seems that the station is doing about the same ratings-wise as its predecessor . I haven't seen the 18-34 or 25-54 numbers so I can't tell if it was worth blowing up the heritage rocker.

18-34 they were hardly ever in the Top 10 18-34 2+ years ago - they are pretty consistent 4th or 5th 18-34 now.

25-54 they were also averaging around 10th place 2+ years ago - now they are usually in the mid-teens in ranking.

It will be interesting to see how PPM treats the station next month, as traditionally Rock Stations do better under PPM.
 
Project 961 is good music wise. The morning show is a BIG disaster.
 
Have to agree, their music has gotten alot better but their morning show is impossible to listen to. They're plugging a new Giant show starting Monday but unless its an all new cast it can't help.
They'd be better off going all music with no morning show.
 
I guess the switch would be considered a wash. No real improvement in numbers yet no real decreases either.

If there objective was to slay 99X, I guess they accomplished what they set out to do.
 
Yeah the "new season". Sounds like some fabricated hype to get people interested. Can't wait to tune in for some "new" lameness.

I worked in this building when it was 96 Rock. Eventhough it was Clear Channel, they seemed to have it together. Now, this thing is has one or two books to save itself from the FULL CC wipeout.
