Ratings question about Star and Q

How do the numbers work that Star is #8 in 12+, (which is an overall catagory that includes everyone-right?) but they don't show up at all in the 18-34 top 10 and are #7 in 25-54?
Can that be explained that the soccer mom (30 yrs old to mid-40's) and their kids listen to Star but teenagers to mid-20's listen to Q (which is why Q is represented in the 18-34)?

I don't have the latest numbers to crunch today, but I doubt the audience comp on these two has changed much in a while. Basically you've got it about right I think.

Less than a quarter of Q's audience is in any of the 35+ demos, while nearly 1/3rd are under 25.
Star has more than 1/4 that are 45+.

If you graphed the demos, Star is a fairly bell shaped curve while Q has a huge peak in 25-34 and then drops off sharply.
