ratings?

Radio and records have got the spring ratings up today.
I am suprised no one has said anything about them.
Maybe these are not real.

Anyhow, Can I say 100.3 is rocking! LS wah wah wah...
Nice book for XRT and big correction for ppn.
Nice debut for AA, I think they got the right station...

They are up nicely.

Fluke? Lack of real headline stories?

Very

But their sister station rebounds and is up nicely.

You can put that format on any signal and it will get numbers. There always interest in the opposing viewpoint that is more bigger. You have to question.... how much more they would have if on a 24/7 signal.

Love FM is great. Thats all I can say about 100.3

As for WCPT, great debut considering the signal isn't the best. Best ratings 850 has had in a good while.
______________

I'm surprised no one mentioned Nine-FM finally debuting with a x.x. Great book for Kiss-FM. And so far, the Mix has been able to stave off challanges from Jack/Nine with its preventive strike of "Whatever We Want" a few months ago.

Now, the same can't be said for the Score (back to second place in the sports wars), and the Zone. What a collapse for them! Is it time to stick a fork in this gem?
Edited by WYTZZ95FM on 07/20/05 03:03 AM.

MVP and the Score will flip with Sox next summer...so numbers should do the same.

How 'bout MusicRadio 94.7??? I just hate the line Great Times & Great Oldies. It sounds so bland.

I can live with that one....

How about just 94 point 7 w-z-z-n, the best music on the radio.....or the greatest hits of all time

Or Just 94 point 7 W-Z-Z-N. with no major sell line....

The best part is Roe Conn - Watch him slide!

Where did his listeners go?

I've mostly moved to Steve, between commercials I switch to 'GN or BBM for real traffic.

Music Radio W-L-S!

Totally right-on. And, ABC still owns the rights to Music Radio. Man, THAT would be great!

(you're also right about the good times-great oldies thing. it was great in it's day but those days ended several years ago).

Exactly, just think if AAR was on WIND. It's pretty sad when AAR on a crappy daytime signal for only 6 weeks almost beats blowtorch WIND which has been on for 8 months. Basically, if you put on programming people actually want to hear, they will put up with the lousy signal.

I heard them this morning. If only they had a signal. Hasn't Steve only been there for a short while? MUCH better than when that other guy was there. Everyone knows what Steve can do. It is nice to hear that his co-host has more to give than traffic and news and not an annoying giggle track.

Props to Dubiel for getting PD too. Even though its no WILL ROCK!!

Yep.. I listen out here in Rockford even though I get interference from every conceivable source in my apartment (pretty sure the WiFi is the biggest culprit).

That won't happen as long as Salem owns 'IND. Could Fred wave some money in Salem's face, or is this station too much of a crusade for them? (Or am I describing 'YLL in this instance?)
