There were some surprises. WKAB almost broke into the top ten for the first time since I can remember. I always thought they were an underappreciated station. I always thought they were a great classic hits station that offers an alternative to Rock 107. They are also committed to the local communities they serve, esp Hazleton and Berwick. They and WAZL do a great job serving those of us in Hazleton and it's nice to see it in the numbers for a change.

The Mountain appears to have sunk considerably. They were holding their own for a while but now have dropped below the top 10. I fear Entercom may use this as an excuse to jettison the Mountain at some point if improvement is not seen. The Mountain is another good alternative to Rock 107 for those in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and they do alot for local music. They are also innovative and are a listener oriented station, a rarity for a big corporate station (I'm sure Rising has a lot to do with the station's focus).

EZ 103 may be a thing of the past, but that's just an opinion. There was a little improvement since they tweaked their playlist a few months ago. I still think a soft AC/smooth jazz fusion format may work here. Maybe we can't support a 24 hour smooth jazz format, but mixed with some soft AC hits it may work.

The top is no surprise. Still fluctuating between Froggy, KRZ and Magic 93 with WNAK holding firm in the top 5. Y 106.5 still a dissapointment below number 20. If they have any desire to move up, they need to increase their regional focus. As a station with a large coverage area, I always felt they should be a regional station.

Wow, we showed up, almost cracked the Boss30, I mean top 30... seriously, not surprised at what I see. I am surprised at seeing everything so early. Allentown usually got theirs before we did. Kudos to AM930... and how the heck does WDAS-FM show up? Shouldn't those numbers be for 105.3 in Honesdale?

Carbon and Monroe counties, Which I believe are in the W-B books, (someone correct me if im wrong) recieve the Philadelphia signals and that includes WDAS-FM. It's been argued that Monroe county, which recieves Lehigh valley signals much clearer than W-B/Scranton signals, should be in the Lehigh valley Arb books.

Any idea on how WWRR (formally WWDL) did? Or is it too soon to find out about the ratings for WWRR since they are "new"...
