Ratings

WBAP, KRLD, KLIF, KSKY, "The Ticket" and "Live 105.3" ALL went down???Apparently there's nothing to talk about.

Musta slipped right by me. Notice anything strange there? A LOT of stations are down, but not many are up, at least nothing appreciable (of note is KSCS, gaining 0.6.) Is there an overall loss of listenership? Is this the first full trend that shows the effect of those people who got satellite radio or iPods for Christmas? I didn't total the numbers, but I'm sensing a fairly noticeable erosion of audience here.No surprise that the new KVIL's peaked. Unless KLTY does something drastic to pull away more KVIL listeners, they can probably settle in for a typical 3.0 each time. Respectable, all things considered.WBAP seems to fall about 6 months behind the prez's approval ratings (or lack thereof.) Takes a little time, I guess, for some people to catch on to the spins they're being fed by Limbaugh, Davis and company.KSKY is a total embarrassment. Turned down all that block programming cash they once got from every area preacher, just to flounder in the basement against an existing flood of conservative talk. It's not like they didn't know this up front. Somebody pull the plug, or bring back the holy rollers (better yet, sell the station to someone who'll do something productive with it.) We all predicted this fall a LONG time ago.105.3 is feeling the loss of Howard, big time. I still think they'd be better served by taping Russ in the afternoon, off the air, and playing it in morning drive. Stick Jagger or whoever on afternoons instead. And the Spanish market is as fickle as ever. Just like the dive that KLNO took a couple of years back (what, #2 to #12 in one book?), now we're seeing it happen to KEGL. A 1.4 drop. Sheesh. And throw Jack a life preserver. Soon they'll be tied with The Bone. Speaking of, wonder how smart Cume-less feels now? Do albatrosses travel in schools? If so, Cumeless just bought the whole district.Congratulations go out to KAAM for maintaining their perennial 0.8. Guess no one died since the last survey.

KSCS has got to be the worst sounding station but look at them. They beat the wolf!!!! The Wolf better get back to their country roots and stop playing the top 20 national hits over and over and over.I'm not a big fan of top 40 amymore but the audio on Kiss is just grunged to the max!Jack and Mix deserve what they get. VT'ing=Shit ratingsKVIL? Last time i heard them they played 3 slow/med tempo boring songs. Goodbye!

Regardless of what KLTY does, KVIL is heading for the mid-2's. And, no, that's not respectable.

Recuerdo (KLNO) is finally doing its expected damage to La Preciosa (KEGL.) Props to David Eduardo. Here in Houston, our Recuerdo (KOVE) is shooting up the Arbitrons like a rocket. 8)

Been out of touch and just wondering what ever happened to Q102/KTXQ.Where are Bo and Jim?Thanks from former Texas Best Rock newsman, now in Memphis.

Thanks. KLNO changed name and format on January 9, so it is a brand new station for all practical effects. We are pretty pleased to have significantly whacked KEGL in the target demo from February on, and this trend reflects that. It is, in fact, #2 25-54 in the April extrap, just 0.3 out of a tie for first with the urban giant of Dallas.

The Wolf is a shell of the great station that it used to be back in the early 00's. And it's not just the songs they're playing. With the amount of KISS-FM, Top-40 radio type elements, on air and off, they have in place they've got a long way to go to ever returning to their country roots and maybe the numbers they once generated.

Above all, K104 is still on top. A station serving its community,LIVE & LOCAL.What a concept.

You got that right, That station is and always will be the best of the best. I'm surprised how KBFB (97.9 the Beat) jumped from the bottom of the top 10 to #2. That is shocking. They never made it that high before.
