I too expected to see Light 99 fare quite well...and I was surprised by GMR's #'s also.

FYI...I saw the "slam" on the other post on this site concerning G101's #'s and I wanted to point out for what its worth...no tongue in cheek "congratulations" to me are necessary...for I am NOT the one in the driver's seat. I have not been making programming decisions for some time...so if you like what you hear...its not me...and if you don't like what you hear...again its not me. For the moment, I am an on-air personality ONLY and let's just leave it at that. Just wanted to clear the air. Now back to regular programming.

Remember that parable from the Bible about the turtur and the long-eared short-tailed lagomorph mammal with long hind legs? Hmmmmmmmm, you sure it wasn’t in…..anyway, the Cliff Notes version of the story is simple – when you're in it for the long haul, it’s better to be consistently mediocre than sporadically great. And why the hell did VW bring back the rabbit!? At least Chevy knew the Vega was not even close to mediocre and just moved on.

After a few days to digest, some observations. For what it's worth, several stations scored higher than advances indicated: 3WZ, Lite, Smooth Jazz & WGMR.

Generally... the Big Three (Froggy, Bus & 3WZ) continue to roll. A "rock book," as Bus, Quick & The Station Formerly Known As "Buzz" all made nice jumps. WOWY proving the viability of Oldies in a Young Market. Lite firmly establishing itself as The One In The Middle Of The Pack. WRSC finding out just how important WBLF's signal and/or Rush were. Smooth Jazz right back where it left off, with a 2 share. WGMR defying the odds and nudging closer to zero. And WJHT perhaps justifying Forever's decision, essentially duplicating the last showing. In other words, not much substantial change in this market, this time around. We'll check back in six months...

Overall, I like lite and God knows I am not known on this site as a guy with all the answers to everything, but never made much sense to me to have your handle being "Lite Favorites and Less Talk" and you have Bob & Sheri in the AM?
I would think music would fair far better...but overall, Lite sounds super the rest of the day. I am even a Delillah hater and she works on the format quite well
