Ratings

Head over to the ratings section for the Miami-FTL numbers for Spring phase one.

Immediate thoughts on the beauty contest numbers:
- LYF is coming back up.
- Most stations in the middle ticked up or down by an insignificant amount.
- MXJ is flat, so I wonder if Bruce Kelly will turn it around soon.
- So much for IOD's dreams of achieving a 3 share again.
- QBA and HDR are now tied and back into the 2s.
- MGE is now the lowest Clear Channel performer in the market, as WINZ has moved in front of it
- QAM broke out of their tie with rival WAXY
- WMEN shows up for the first time in last place, with its pal WFTL only two spots above it.

MXJ's "flat" is just a tenth out of the top 10. Flat is good for where they are. What's more interesting is the possiblity of LFG selling their stations, and Cox mentioned as a possible buyer. Adding WLYF and WMXJ to Cox's EDR, HDR, HQT and FLC would be a very powerful cluster...but I think one station over the 5 FM limit. Let's play LFG Survivor - Miami. Which station would get voted off?

Dont you think it's strange that WMEN showed up in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale market and nothing in West Palm? Their signal is weak (especially at night) in Miami, but is a blow torch in WPB. ???
