Will the new ratings method make a difference? I say the smaller stations like 106.9 and 97.1 pick up a little.
I will also say stations like KTRH will lose a little.

TSL will be higher on the smaller stations while down on the larger stations.

Now in all honesty I think we are talking plus minus 2/10 of a point at most.

TSL prediction just a gut feeling. I am learning from Chertoff on this prediction.

Not really!

I have always thought the small station do more to keep what they have and that is why I say the TSL will be up for them.

In Philly and Houston pre-currency data, news is up, talkers are off.

TSL will be higher on the smaller stations while down on the larger stations.

TSL collapses horribly on all stations. Market TSL off 40%.

Now in all honesty I think we are talking plus minus 2/10 of a point at most.

I hear a buzz about some surprising changes in some stations.

It sure will not be either the #1 or #2 Spanish stations, KLTN and KOVE.

25-54: KLTN #3 and KOVE tied for 6th. It's Dallas in May all over again.

The R&R site has a cume ranker in the news article, but no share data. Subscribers got the eBook today, with 5 gigs of data.

There is also a cume ranker on this site.

Wow this is very interesting. Not all what I was thinking at all. I better study this one closer.

The PPM ratings are very interesting and are quite different than the Arbitron ratings reported previously.
In addition, do the PPM ratings also indicate that the amount of listeners dropped from May to June?

We haven't seen PPM ratings yet. All we have is cume so far. Apples and oranges. Hold off on the conclusions.

The ranker I posted is in share / rating point order. Arbitron, for some strange reason, is releasing cume numbers rather than share data, for public consumption. Since a cumer only has to listen 5 minutes in a week, and the PPM picks up "extraneous" listening, this seems odd to me.

KQBU? KLAT? KRTX? Certainly not KPTY! Right?

KRTX does not typically show; that's why it is part of the HD Tejano network initiative across Texas. Party is one of the top market cumers, and KQBU does well for a rimshot, so I can say, "none of the above."

Omega frequents the Dallas board, and shows a need to take the Arbitron 101 and People Meter 101 classes online. His misunderstanding of concepts as simple as cume and share make his posts subject to caution.
