Everyone please, this just cume data. The breakdown of the shares is far more important. When we see that data, we will have a better reflection.

Thanks David. My point was: KBME doesn't show up well in the shares either. Do they have listeners? Incidentally, I've worked with sales departments that have had decent shares to work with but have been selling cume also. It's another sales tool for sales managers to use. It matters.

An absolute shame it is, Mike. Something else needs to happen at KBME, because Fox Sports isn't working. Problem is, what else do you put on 790? It has such a great signal in Houston, that my fear is one day soon we wake up and 790 has learned a new language.

I think a hybrid standards/oldies station could work. In the beginning of rock 'n roll both KILT and KNUZ were Top-40 and played a mix of the then new rock 'n roll. Those stations also did a lot of day-parting to accomodate the audience that was targeted. Morning drive music, midday music (housewives) and afternoon music (teens) all differeed. Some of the music was the same throughout the dayparts.

Chuck, I'd like to see a format such as this return to the market as well. The question is, would they try it? Being that it would cost more to run a format like this, as opposed to the Fox Sports bird, my money says no.

Besides, what would they do with Palillo?
