I've been told Reading ratings rank the local stations in this order--- WRFY, WIOV,WFKB, WEEU, WRAW, WIOV-am. is this accurate? has FRANK FM ever beaten WRFY or WIOV -fm yet ?
 
It depends what demo you are looking at, but to answer your question, Frank has never beaten
WRFY in any demo or any rating book since they signed on.
 
but don't forget.. reading is still up there in murders per capita.. so there's something to be proud of. lol

i dont know how thats possible...y-102 is horrible, its a watered down version of the rock and the classic rock format...same goes for zzo....and may as well throw in the other one i hate 101.9, they ****ing blow i hate variety of anykind at least zzo and y-102 are just one format...but then again, some people like variety i guess

Eyg - oh, so Frank playing the same 300 classic songs over and over again is what you consider an ideal station? Y102 and ZZO will ALWAYS beat Frank....accept it!
 
frank has a hell of a lot more than 300 songs, y-102 calls themselves a rock station, but they dont have andy heavy shit...they call themselves rock but the most hard-core new rock they have is she builds quick machines from velvet revolver... and zzo calls themselves a great rock station...but if theyre so great...why is there no tool, SOAD, RATM, Korn, etc...

but i have to give ZZO one thing...theyre a hell of alot better than y-102...and y-102 is a hell of a lot better than t-102...but ZZO's got 2 stations kicking its ass... WMMR, and The Bone...make that 3 stations...YSP

and as for Frank, they are the classic rock leaders for the area. y-102 is NOT a classic rock station its classic rock with todays POP hits.
 
The original question was, Did Frank ever beat Y102 in the Ratings? The answer is still no!
And as for the "POP" Hits...on Y102 and Frank being the classic rock leader, Frank doesn't even call it classic rock.

Looks like some classic rock and some new rock to me. Sure, they are a little mellow pop sounding at some times of the day, but thats what keeps them Number one I guess.

I would say there a few "Classic Rock " Songs there mixed in.

Its not for everyone, especially somebody who wants hard rock, but it does work for them.
 
holy shit y-102 has seether??? they just moved upo a notch im my book!...but they still need SOAD, Tool And POPULAR Korn..and they need to get rid of the slow nickleback and the fray...and kt turnstill (y the hell is black hors and the cherry tree [or whatever the hell its called] on a rock station?)

Classic Hits and Classic rock are the same thing, just with some slower shit thrown in there with is, and frank doesn't have to much sleepy shit in there, not as much as 99.9 does at least....look at the classic hits station in Seattle, now thats a real classic hits station (i dont like the REAL CH format) almost 0 hard classic rock, with a bunch of the soft shit you dont even hear on an oldies station...frank is a classic rock station with the classic hits Branding...
 
that KT Tunstall song should not be on any station .. good thing the song is only 2 minutes ..
 
see my comment in the "doesn't look like" thread. i think frank should do all christmas this year. before you laugh, read the other thread and see my line of thinking.
 
I haven't heard that K.T. Turnstyle song on Y102 in about a year. I think it's gone, thank god!
