Okay-- since no one will bite: my take:

WLW-- WOW the afternoon show is killing everyone. I admit I was wrong. Kudos to Eddie and Tracy!
WGRR-- Another big book-- they should have been doing this well all along If Mr Bryant did not totally ignore them. Good work!
WUBE-- Speaking of Mr Bryant--- WTF. They are in free fall.
WEBN-- they have their Mojo back-- still sounds like grandpa plays rock and roll in the afternoon, but they are hipper than they have been in a while
WRRM-- How soon will they go Christmas this year? I pick November 14th
WKRC-- Election time and angry white guys are pissed again this time around
WIZF-- Soon to be bankrupt
WKRQ-- Even a blind rat finds a snack now and then-- Nice job Mr B, but it's probably not enough to keep you from getting fired (or make you need to throw someone else under the bus to save your sorry butt)
WMOJ-- They still do not understand what Cume-less did to make it work-- they probably never will, as they are the product of a public school education.
WOFX-- Hard to imagine they were stupid enough to let WGRR kick their butt-- A simple blocking move would have kept WGRR at bay and still protected WEBN- They should all be fired---oh wait, they all will be in 30 days.
WSWD-- Who cares
WFTK--- Should be WTF-K. Just another failure on 96.5FM
WAKW-- Jesus loves you
WNNF-- Jesus hates you. You are fired.
WPFB-- Thanks WUBE for dropping the point one--- it has really helped us-- See "Public Education" under WMOJ. We suck really bad but arbitron does not care-

PS: I noticed that CLU-132 did not make the ratings- Who cares what happened to IRV Schwanz?

In 30 days both these stations are going to Bonneville or possibly Tribune as I hear that they are getting more stations now that Randy is in charge. Any truth to that rumor?

Doesn't matter how accurate the content is. Anti-Em's entries are never disappointing and thoroughly entertaining.
 
I was talking with a strategist who has worked with Bonneville and Entercom in the past. We both agreed that IF Bonneville ends up with the new signals they shoud build it out....

92.5 WOFX "92-5 THE DRIVE / Classic Cincinnati"

94.1 WYGY "94.1 THE WOLF / Wide Open Country"
-Country

94.9 WSWD "94-9 THE SOUND / Cincinnati's Alternative"
-Alternative

101.9 WKRQ "Q102 / Cincinnati's Hit Music"
-Adult CHR

105 WUBE "B105 / Cincinnati's Country"
-Country

Then you spin off 97.3 to Radio One for a cool couple 10-12 mil. They slap gospel/jazz on there.

The only thing we started to ponder was CC said they wanted to swap signals, not sell them outright. So how could you do this....

*Bonneville gives Clear Channel KSWD in exchange for the Cincinnati properties, plus additional money. Then Clear Channel sells KSWD to Citadel to improve their LA foothold. Citadel sells off a few smaller markets to help support their new purchase.

You guys forget that even though Cumulus Media Partners can't buy here, plain old Cumulus Media CAN. The Partners are controlled by Bain (as is Clear Channel now), but good ol' Cumulus Media is a public company not affiliated with Bain. Something to think about.
 
I care about wswd the sound. Wonder why there ratings are down?I live in louisville where we don't have a commercial alt and haven't in several years. So i like to listen to the sound and even like there sister station in los angeles but not as much but just wondering why 94.9 the sound is not doing as well as they were???

Actually Cume-less had nothing to do with the success of WMOJ. They came into town and said... "What's a Mojo??? Must find someone to take over the name & format... maybe someone will pay us $5 Million and Radio One came running!!!" Cume-less got lucky to find someone to take it over.

Mojo was one of the last Great Jammin Oldies Stations and you can thank Susquehanna and the former PD Keith Mitchell for keeping it going strong for so long. That format didn't fit into Cume-less standard 5 format slot. Hate to think outside the box.

Other than that... I agree with everything else anti-em posted

To me, it looks like WFTK took a bite out of their share. WFTK plays harder rock and probably took some younger listeners away from the Sound. The Sound seems to be more popular with older people.

I did not mean to compliment Cume-less I just can't spell susquennahhanhaa. Not sure how much Keith had to do with it, but the Indian was a heck of a company!
 
Keith Mitchell responsible for a jump? Fuggetaboutit. Unless his frontal lobe has been replaced since I worked for him, I'd venture to say that his puppetmaster, TJ, is largely responsible for any bump in the ratings. Keith has the personality of key fob.
 
WSWD actually does well with Women, which may sound surprising. They help pull the female numbers away from WEBN which ultimately helps WKRQ and WUBE. The station 12+ may be a little all over the place, however Jay Kruz is a great and talented PD who knows the lifestyle.

WSWD continues to grow with Women and does okay in the 25-44 demo which is its core.

WKRQ is kicking major backend recently. Great job to the entire team there. Patti and Grover are tearing up the market, and its great to see how much Bonneville is giving back to the community.

WMOJ and WIZF are "parallel units" in the fact that they have a core demographic. They get a lot of phantom cume from WKRQ and WKFS but for the most part they are strong where they need to be. Thats why if Radio One ads a third unit, it will only help.

WEBN and WFTK are fighting on new territory. Its WEBN's turf and WFTK has to bring the game. 12+ they look a little shaggy, but if Cumulus gives them the right tools, FTK has no where to go but up! Its a great station, great image and great brand!

WUBE and WYGY is a smart move. Even though it looks like they need to put WYGY out of its misery, they wont because the simple fact that it "fits" and blocks a potential competitor to their brand.

Someone was talking about this earlier today with me. I doubt it would ever happen, but what if...what if Cumulus were to get involved in this big ole swap.
This could potentially be the lineup

CLEAR CHANNEL - WLW-A / WCKY-A / WSAI-A / WKRC-A / WKFS-F / WEBN-F
RADIO ONE - WDBZ-A / WMOJ-F / WIZF-F / 97.3
CUMULUS - WGRR-F / WFTK-F / 92.5 WOFX
BONNEVILLE - WUBE-F / 94.1 WYGY / WKRQ / WSWD-F / 98.5 WRRM

Bonneville starts to build a wall of women and country
Cumulus build a wall of men
Clear Channel builds the News/Talk/Sports/Information/Entertainment wall
Radio One builds the ethnic wall

This way, they each own their corners. I doubt that Cumulus would ever let Warm slide out, but who knows, its been done before!
