RATINGS

??? Most times, in most cities, the top three are either CHR, Rhythmic CHR, and AC. Most times it's one of those three (any order) with the top highest ratings.
??? so why not just switch "93.7 Mike FM" to "Funkytown 93.7" and add some AC/Urban AC weekend syndicated programs such as Walt Baby Love, Jim Brickman, and Rick Dees to name a few. :'(
Funkytown 93.7 does play some old Rock and Roll music that you also hear on 93.7 Mike FM. So why not.

Look at the Ratings for Boston, it's right there!!!

Because they want to keep their ratings and not lose all of their listeners.

For the 29103848291837 time, Mike FM makes good money. Entercom is in the radio business to make money. Why take an unnecessary risk?

sorry to jump in here and ask you all to visit the real world but...6+ numbers are useless and meaningless...stations are looking for certain demos...hip hop looks for 25 to 34, ac looks for women 35 to 54, talk is looking for men 35 to 54, etc etc...any discussion of 6+ numbers is simply a waste of otherwise good bandwidth

Money > Ratings

here we go again!!!

Seriously dude... ENOUGH!!! Clearly, Entercom is making enough money to keep MIKE around. Get over it.

Who took the first swing in the T&R/D&C dustup? Did T&R thank everyone for being number and and then D&C reacted to it or was it the other way around? From what I've read and heard over the past many months is that T&R seem to bring D&C up on their show quite often, but I've never heard D&C refer to their competition by name, even once.

D&C opened up yesterday's show with a 15 minute segment lashing out at 'the competition' and how they KICKED THEIR ASS, and then lashed out at Jessica & Chad of the Herald and Globe, respectively.
You can hear the open on weei.com.
People started tweeting, text messaging 98.5 about their claims so T&R responded.

D&C did what they normally do, started up with their whining and "I'm better than you" claims, and T & R responded with what they normally do. Which is facts

I think it would work on WKAF, now that their signal is improved from the WBOT days.
