Ratings

As I appreciate that we have the ability to get the local radio ratings, is there an area where we can get the local TV ratings? Which station is the news leader? #1 at 5pm, 6PM and 11PM?

Here are the ratings shown here for Radio online but for national TV shows.

Thanks recto101, I would like to see the local ratings for the SF Bay Area market.

I do not hear any of the stations bragging being Number 1 at 5, 6, or 11pm

I'm curious, too. I've Googled around a bit, and can't find a source for local ratings. It used to be common knowledge, but not so much the last decade or so. Last time I recall (maybe 8 or 10 years ago), KTVU at 10:00 was the highest rated news program, and the 5,6, and 11 moved back and forth between KGO-TV and KPIX, with KNTV trailing badly, and KRON in the dumper.

With all the local news programming available now - I have to assume that everybody's making money, and ratings aren't as crucial as they used to be...though obviously, it determines what they can charge advertisers.
