Entercom Names Amy Griesheimer Vice President/Market Manager of its Denver Radio Stations
Bala Cynwyd, PA (October 3, 2007) — Entercom Communications Corp. (NYSE: ETM) today announced that Amy Griesheimer has been named Vice President/Market Manager of its cluster of four radio stations in Denver, Colorado (KEZW-AM, KQMT-FM, KOSI-FM and KALC-FM), effective immediately.

Griesheimer began her Entercom career in 2002 as Vice President of Sales and General Manager of Entercom Denver’s KEZW-AM and KALC-FM. She also has served as General Manager of Entercom Seattle and earlier this year was named Market Manager of Entercom’s stations in Madison, Wisconsin.

In making the announcement, Weezie Kramer, Entercom Regional Vice President, said, “Amy has clearly demonstrated that she is a ‘get it done’ person. She has racked up multiple wins for Entercom, and we look forward to her continuing this winning tradition in Denver.”

Griesheimer is excited about her return to Entercom Denver. “I am thrilled to return to the great city of Denver, where I have so many relationships both inside and outside of the Entercom building,” she stated. “We have a wonderful team and an outstanding roster of brands, and I am honored to have the opportunity to lead here.”

There is more to the story. Ray is headed out of town on a vacation is the word on the street though. Not sure he can really tell why this happened, with releases to be signed and all.

Surprised to hear you say that. Turning over the sales department 5 times, the promotion department 3 times, missing every budget, decimating the programming staff, including firing an AC programmer who was a regional VP for another group, losing most of the major events the cluster had (Bolder Boulder anyone?),and spending the bulk of his day on the Alice morning show or at the gym?

Yep, he'll land on his feet. But that only says something about the radio industry in general.

AllAccess is reporting that Ray Quinn, described as a "long-time BIRMINGHAM, AL radio vet," is the new Market Manager for Clear Channel's clusters in Birmingham and Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Same guy?

Yes, it's the same Ray Quinn, who was in the Birmingham market years ago before moving on to San Antonio, Madison, Milwaukee and Denver.

Yep, that's the one. Thanks.

"Quinn comes to Birmingham from Denver, where he oversaw four stations as market manager for Entercom Communications. He left Entercom in October, when the company brought in a new manager for the Denver market."
