Raycom Names Tim Ingram Regional Group VP

The affected stations are WVUE, WTNZ, KFVS that will get the new regional VP

Tim Ingram today was appointed regional group vice president for Raycom Media, a role in which he will oversee WTNZ Knoxville, Tenn.; KFVS-WQWQ Cape Girardeau, Mo.; KAIT Jonesboro, Ark.; and KYOU Ottumwa, Iowa-Kirksville, Mo. Ingram will also maintain his current position as VP-GM of WVUE New Orleans.

"From multiplatform content operations to station management, Tim has done it all. He has a comprehensive understanding of each facet of our industry and will provide strong leadership for the talented teams at these stations," said Raycom Media President-CEO Pat LaPlatney.

In 2007, Ingram joined KAIT VP-GM. He was then promoted to VP-GM of KFVS-WQWQ.

Ingram’s career includes stops at WAVE Louisville, Ky., and KLTV Tyler, Texas, where he was director of operations and marketing.

"I started as a studio camera operator at KAIT over 25 years ago and have had the privilege of working across the Raycom Media footprint," said Ingram. “I look forward to helping these four stations continue to build on their strengths and create new opportunities for our audiences and clients across all platforms."
