RBR reports Randy Michales to take over WLIB

"Former Clear Channel Radio CEO Randy Michaels is set to return to operating a major market radio station. RBR has learned that Michaels will take over programming of WLIB-AM New York when Air America Radio's current LMA expires August 31st." From Radio Business Report today

They will need a new home. There is not a lot to choose from in New York and a lot of people who would like the space. Some shows from Air America could end up on Randy's station. It will probably end up as progresive talk.I know they would rather have their own station.

InsideRadio is now reporting that WLIB remains undealt, and will end up going in September with whoever can offer the better deal to Inner City.
