rca infinite radio vs aluratek internet radio

I have an RCA Infinite radio that receives internet radio streaming, but the radio receives only radio stations streaming in WMA, Mp3 or RA format. What types of internet radio streams does the Aluratek receive? Also what is the difference between these streaming types and others like Silverlight, for example? IS there a way to receive radio stations that do not have a stream in RA, Mp3 or WMA format on either radio? I know Clear Channel Radio stations have their own streaming format but many will add an MP3, RA, or WMA format if requested.

Aluratek only does WMA and MP3 that I'm aware of, no RealAudio support (but who uses that anymore). I've got the clock radio unit and have tested many formats, the only thing that won't work on either is cheap channel stations or anyone else that uses token based streaming servers. Even if you could fool the system and get a token CC and others are flipping to flash streaming that uses AAC+. MP3 and WMA use more bandwidth than is financially practical to the big chains.
