RDL STA-2 as a Program Amp?

Wonder if anyone has upgraded an LPB console's program amp by using the RDL "Stick On" STA-2 module? It will accept the ground referenced regulated voltage available in the LPB and the specs are good. The only real question I have...Is 24db enough gain for this application?

IIRC, the LPB program amp uses the inverting input of the opamp in its circuit. The master gain pot is connected as a rehostat in series wioth this input. I'd turn up the board's master gain pot all the way up, ground the + input of the stick on and connect the line amp input to the - input of the stick on. Does RDL make a summing amplifier with a low impedance input? This would be ideal. 26 db gain might be enough to get you +4 but not much higher.
