RDS is back on at Rock 101 & The Planet

This isn't really related, but I was just about to make another post regarding these stations.

I just got an interference study in the mail today from the Entercom engineers outlining their plans for consolidating their studios. I'm not sure why I was on the list, since my stations are all the way up here in Kentucky...apparently some of my STLs are on the same frequencies...but it was neat reading. Cute little maps outlining their STL shots from the consolidated studios to their various studios.

Does anybody know the status of their buildout? Looks like it's coming to fruition since they are doing the STL apps.

I think the consolidate they speak of has already occurred. Entercom bought some stations from Barnstable, and moved them to their Garlington Rd. facility. That move has been complete for a few months now. I do know 93.3 is moving their stick to Hogback Mtn. I understand their feed is delivered via idsn to their current tower. The new xmtr will have an stl feed...and kinda, sorta, shoots towards KY. I guess that's why you're receiving the notice.

I understand that the move is not in concrete. The station currently uses a STL to White Oak Mountain. Sounds like Comsearch is once again going overboard on protection issues.
