RDS On KAZT

Closed circuit for Mr. Hagerty, in case this blew right by you
(but I kinda think it didn't)...

While popping around the TV dial from 5-5:30--including checking
out some new weather dude on ch. 5 (Sean who? ;D)--one of my
stops was Bewitched on KAZT-TV with the "Ben Franklin
part two" episode (for lack of the official title). Within the show,
heard on a radio and then a short on camera in a radio studio--
the Real Don Steele! Saying things like "boss radio" (but not 93/KHJ).
After all, this was Fairfield County Connecticut. Probably not WICC
either. And he was credited as "himself."

Dude! Wow, RDS.
Haven't heard that name in a while. How about Robert W. Morgan, speaking of Boss Radio?
(I grew up in L.A.)

Tina Delgado is alive! ( ??? What the ___ is he talking about? )

You can take the TV PD out of radio, but you can't take the radio out of....well....you get the idea.

The episode (#88) was "Samantha For The Defense".

Last year, when we were still running it, Gary Owens was on an episode of "Sabrina, The Teenage Witch".

For Robert W. Morgan, I'd have to start running old "Groovy" and "Boss City" tapes from KHJ-TV. ;)

---Michael Hagerty

P.S.: Teddyo: Steele died without ever telling anyone what "Tina Delgado is alive, alive!" meant. He and Morgan died within a year of each other from the same disease...lung cancer. Steele in August, 1997 and Morgan in May, 1998.
