RDS

I don't know of all the stations in Alabama using it, but 102.1 in Huntsville Decatur does. My friens car radio has it and it simply displays as "WDRM"

All of Bluewater Broadcasting's stations in Montgomery (save the AM, probably) have it, IIRC.

It was sorta neat seeing the singer's name, song title, and the radio station name and/or slogan scroll across the screen of my brother-in-law's '04 Chevy Avalanche...I'd have never guessed his car stereo had RDS or that any radio stations still took the time to use it.

(If I may shill for Bluewater again, this post is dedicated to the best urban station in the Gump...97-9 Jamz) <P ID="signature">______________
