Re-air the play-by-play?

Are there any flagship or network stations that re-air their major league baseball, NFL football, NBA basketball games or NHL games ... say in overnights or early weekend timeslots?

I've never heard of one doing that. It's probably in the contracts not to, since most teams are just buying time on the stations it wouldn't be likely anyway, as long as Coast to Coast or reruns of talk shows are available. :)

Actually I do remember a couple of stations doing that: I can pick up KNBR 680 out of San Francisco pretty well during the evening hours and I have heard SF Giants games at midnight(occasionally I can't sleep and I listen to the radio late at night), I remember KOMO 1000 doing something like that in overnight hours as well a few years back when they had the PxP rights for the Seattle Mariners.

I believe that KIRO 710 does a one hour instant classic type of show with the week's Seahawks game on Sunday nights and I think Monday mornings(at least I remember that from last year); it might be an hour and a half but i'm pretty sure KIRO reruns games.

The AM/1500 facility in Washington, D.C. (currently WFED) would reair Washington Nationals games during the overnight hours, back when they were WTWP "Washington Post Radio."

Back when KXTA in Los Angeles had the Dodgers, they use to re-air their games after midnight. They (the current sports format at KLAC) also re-air Laker games also late nights after the postgame call-in show.
