If 740 CHWO were to try something new, (Let's say classic country, for example) then 640 Toronto would be VERY quick to pick up where they left off.
However, they'd *most likely* be more like this sister station out of Cornwall Ontario.

I *would* hope that Entercom comes to their senses and decides to model after this Cornwall Ontario station, using WKBW, but that would just take too much attention away from WBEN...oh well.<P ID="signature">______________

Why should they change? They get listeners from all over the northeastern United States who greatly enjoy their music, in addition to, I'm sure, listeners in their home market.

I personally preferred having the CBC there, but what can you do?

Exactly, but did you read the post below?
A very good point being made. They won't change, and Yez is just adding to the reasons why. Right Yez?
740 is commited to the oldies/classic oldies sound. Too bad more stations closer to Buffalo don't see the need for such a station, or as Yez pointed out, at the very least a "Today's news, yesterday's hits" station.
