MC, we know you're joking, but we also know that really wouldn't be so far fetched in today's radio world. BTW, LA Boar poster said KRLA PD refused to renew Heidi Harris contract.

You can't "refuse to renew" a contract someone doesn't ask for. I'm thrilled to be home in Vegas. I've been packing and planning my return for months. LA's fine, but it ain't home....

Ha. MC, can't argue with you there...I'm far too boring and scandal-free to be a columnist. And I've only had ONE husband! I'm clearly unqualified.

Seriously, I'm thrilled to be doing my commentaries on 790 KBET, for a couple of reasons:

I love Andy Vierra, and what he's doing over there, and am looking forward to working with him

These commentaries will put me in all day parts, which is unique (and each will be different)

I can have two things that matter to me - I can make a living, and I can have a LIFE

I hope I never have to eat these words, but after nearly 12 years of 2 AM wake-ups, I am THROUGH with mornings, unless there's a "Vegas style" briefcase full of cash involved.

I am THRILLED to be HOME, talking about my favorite city in the world, (which just happens to be the best place to do talk radio that I can think of).

Thanks to those of you who have been so nice and so encouraging to me over the years, like Jerry Gordon, etc.

And to those of you who hate me: Suck it up - This is MY hometown, and I ain't goin' away.

Good for you for getting Andy Vierra to give you some airtime, I only ever hear nice things about him, but you cannot seriously think anyone outside of a few die hard conservatives and several radio industry insiders even remember you, or care. You are just another in a long line of broadcasters who dabbled outside the desert only to find that you didn't bring enough to the table to stay in that larger market. (E.G. Osborne, Moug, Johnson & Tofte, and several others not even worth mentioning)

Again, congrats on getting airtime in Las Vegas, but save the sarcasm and check the ego. You don't have haters. That would require people to actually give a $h!t.

Actually, said quite a few people, ever.
You must not have your ear to the ground. I talk to people everyday that recognize her and would love to have her back. You must live up in lala corporate land and don't care about the listeners.
As much as we dislike Ed, all the stars have aligned for KBET as far as lineup goes. I hope Andy can make something out of it.
I will not get into a flame war with you because it is futile. If you don't give a $hit, move back to that dump called California.

I like Heidi personally and think she is still viable with certain segment of the Vegas radio listening audience. I sincerely hope she does well. However, the ownership at her new station is completely irrational and it's just a matter of time before this situation blows up. Again, like I said in an earlier post, I would love to be a fly on the wall in future meetings with Heidi and Ed. Eventually, it will blow up and one party will be sued. But, I hope I'm wrong. Best of luck Heidi! A word of advice from someone you don't know well... the fewer occasions of interaction with ownership, the longer it will last.
