Re: Pirate on 95.7 in West York area

About a year ago, I heard a pirate from time to time in the Hanover area on 96.5. It sounded as if they were just hooked up to a CD changer. They called themselves "THE VALLEY". The music was for the most part...old style easy listening...with Anne Murray type vocals. Every once in a while, something strange would emerge...like Walter Egan's "Magnet and Steel". Haven't heard them recently.

Hey Boomer---that actually came out of Jefferson---I tracked it down one day---once in a while a woman calling herself "Lily of the Valley" would give an ID. The last time I heard it was about 3-4 months ago carrying an XM channel---I think it was called "Sunny".

What's this about a pirate on 95.7---haven't caught that yet. There used to be one on 95.7 in Biglerville that ran almost daily---I tracked that to his HOUSE, and the antennas are still there.

Cheers,
