Re post from 1/14/05

-I posted this on 1/14/05

This is the begining!!! Dave is only the first, and surely will not be the last...The whole radio scene in buffalo and many other cities could possibly be turned upside down, and inside out!!! Just another reason for people to buy XM!!!!

-I hate to say i told ya so!! But unfortunatly it has come to fruitation!! Lets just hope that the big wigs at the big radio corps get put through the ringer to! I dont think anyone wants to see all the little guys get tossed to the curb for things there bosses looked the other way at..

Bro, you probably were posting in a hurry, on an empty tank or after a night out. We've all been there. Your unintentional malaprop "...it has come to fruitation..." cracked me up.

I suspect you meant "fruition" (meaning "to be fulfilled.")

Still, it was good for a laugh and Norm Crosby definitely would have appreciated your post.

So you think the programmers at XM are won't be swayed by the perks the record labels would offer them? Those programmers are former FM programmers who used to be offered the same trips etc that were uncovered in the Spitzer investigation.

But I'd buy Sirius first, at least you can listen to Stern (soon) and Shade 45.<P ID="signature">______________

Are there any program disclosure regs that apply to satellite radio? Can record companies legally and explicitly buy airtime there without disclosing sponsorship?
