So how long does David Lee Finneran last?

Smoke, "David Lee Finneran" is a classic. Excellent!

But the idiot who says "Finneran is going to get good eventually" must work in college radio. This is market #11, folks. You don't get to learn talk radio live on the air during morning drive. You do that in Albany, then you come here.

Unless you're SAM, in which case you leave Albany for Boston and still suck.

Re: Wow, was I ever wrong!-TIO

I'm the idiot that said Finneran would improve, and I don't work in college radio - I'm a listener, deprived evidently of such rare insights as yours. As a mere listener, I'm idiot enough to believe people might like to hear informed talk that is little more than putdowns and name-calling. However, I defer to your evaluation, as you have obviously mastered the craft.

I'd like to hear "informed talk" that is a lot more than putdowns and name-calling. Unfortunately, all WRKO offers in the mornings is Tom Finneran.

And can't you see what an insult it is to WRKO listeners to stick someone on the air that you know sucks, but then tell us O, he'll get better? Please keep listening to our lousy talent?

The only people I know who would treat radio listeners that badly are PDs. Are you sure you don't work in radio?
