"Reach Out And Touch" on CBS FM

Driving this afternoon, I was shocked to hear CBS FM play "Reach Out And Touch(Somebody's Hand), the first solo single by Diana Ross after she left the Supremes; it was a bit of a stiff,just barely reached #20 nationally on the pop chart;
in contrast, the first 'new' Supremes single with Jean Terrell on lead vocals, "Up The Ladder To the Roof" was the first Top Ten hit for the group minus Ross;
will CBS FM be doing anything special for the '50th Anniversary of Motown"?(great Motown section in the new issue of Vanity Fair, Lisa Robinson did a great job

Being as there's a promotional tie-in/radiothon for the Children's Miracle Network with WCBS-FM (& the other CBS Radio Stations in NYC), there have been some odd song selections (by WCBS-FM standards) playing in co-ordination with the "promotional announcements" for the "Network". The song themes are pretty much tied in to similar charitable themes; thus, the possible reason for hearing the Diana Ross "Reach Out & Touch" song. Link to the "Network's" Radiothon page below:

interesting....but are there are plans to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Motown? are other classic hit stations doing tie ins with this event? it seems like a no brainer...
