Other than one helluva sunburn from the lake this past weekend...life is damn good!! As you could see from my last post regarding KOMP, I am enjoying myself at Lotus. After hiring Mike Goode (the former production and image director for KEDG 103.5), I divided up the production department in two parts: I handle all sales production including meeting with clients. Mike now handles all imaging duites as the image director for KOMP and KXPT. He is phenomenal with his creative talents with imaging a radio station. Award winning stuff for sure!!
I am having a blast doing more creative and script writing for the AE's, which was badly needed. I'm still doing my Sunday morning Floyd Fixx. Other than that...not a whole lot of on-air.......which is fine by me!! I much more prefer the behind the scenes stuff.
The stations are doing well! We have a fifth station coming online around the first of the year which will be ESPN Deportes. New challenges and fun await!!
All in all....Having a blast!!

Good to hear the Floyd Fixx is still on...unfortunately I miss it because I'm on the box at the same time. As for me...well Chubby Checker's hit "Limbo Rock" puts it all in perspective....I'm "hangin' in there, baby!" like the feline on that classic poster....continue the excellent prod and good radio man...peace!
