> Alot of the success the station had back in those days was due to the fact that not only was the music listener friendly, the promotions were unique and fun. Dave Rossi is a genius at coming up with ideas, and Hurricane would dot the i's, cross the t's and implement them. Rossi and Hurricane were a great team, one complimenting the other. Neither one has really shone since the breakup of the origional X. Rossi is currently back in Charleston, SC running an alternative station that does ok, and Hurricane is rotting at The Eagle, doing his best to make a pretty boring station viable. Citadel (or whoever) getting those two back together would be a huge first step towards bringing back the fire and passion in Birmingham radio. We'll see what happens
