Ready For "Kool 107.1"---Spokane's Newest Radio Station?

The signal issues have been resolved....and with Rob Harder and Bob Anthony in command....this is will be one of the most incredible fun launches of new radio station in the Inland Northwest...

Rob Harder & Mark Holman---"The Wise Guys" back in the morning....

J.J. Hemingway---"Your Spokane Radio Pal" on from 10-3....

Kenny Johnson---back on the weekends....more details forthcoming....


All the folks that Clear Channel didn't want...are now going to come back and bite them on the butt.....that's the nice way of saying it. This is going to be a great David & Goliath Story---and we all know how that turned out...

Great facility in downtown Spokane.....THIS IS GOING TO BE REAL RADIO.....done right...and will teach corporate folks a thing or two about Spokane Radio.....

This IS going to be FUN!!

Hey--I MISS being on the air in Seattle, but that was a Jay Kelly decision back in 2008. I did have a good run at KJR-FM. I will be doing the shows for Spokane--middays from 10-3, and I will be doing them from here in Bismarck. But I have trakked shows for such a long time and believe that trakking CAN be an art-form IF done right....It will sound like I am there...PROMISE!!! I will start this Monday morning at 10am.....

Congratulations! Last I heard, K-Love got the 107.1 signal. Glad that local owners finally snagged the frequency. And that you're kickin' it.

Now where's the Listen Live link?......
 
Bob Anthony who was one of the K-Love original partners bought the station and he had plans to do just what they're doing now--we didn't tell people--and let them speculate...it's been fun and now the real fun begins on Monday!!

They are having some issues today with the website...should be back up and running soon....and next week streaming will begin.....CAN'T WAIT for the streaming!!! Most Kewl in my book!

unless kool 107.1 is owned by his present employer townsquare, there could be conflict of interests, if townsquare is in that market.. or being on the Clock at townsquare and trakking for another company... maybe the rules have changed..
 
The guy in the know of all that is on this thread. Ask him.
 
Townsquare is NOT in Spokane. Some stations down in the Tri-Cities, and Yakima, but NOTHING anywhere near Spokane. So--NO worries....

Why would Townsquare care? They do it, too! They use Rachel Marisay on their KVKI, and she either works for Clear Channel at KVET in Austin or Cox at WHKO in Dayton. Rachel's also being picked up by a lot of Cumulus stations.
