some do not bring their Christianity into how they run their businesses. Becomes complicated, doesn't it!
As we mentioned previously, God is pretty good at cleaning up messes and using it for His glory.
My concern is that many Christian stations are not really reaching out as far as they can, they are content to meet the needs of a few, to base their success on a few phone calls and thumbs up.
In order to get the job done, could it be that God is using the unGodly for His work because we are failing in professionalism and are content to be lukewarm (not concerning Him but concerning growth)? He can use anyone He desires.
I have a story about a church that was planted in the Ukraine. There were no P&W leaders, but because those planting the church wanted excellence in what they did, they hired professional people who were in secular rock bands to lead worship. After the band did P&W, they would go to a room and drink some Vodka and smoke. Very unconventional thinking and of course the people planting the church don't advise this unless you know God is in it.
After a few months of this, one of the band members decided that there was something different about what he was singing and realized how empty his life was, gave his life to the Lord and is now the Pastor of that Ukraine Church. I'm not going to tell you the name of the church that planted the Ukraine Church but they do some pretty awesome P&W nationally and knew the value of praise leading people into the presence of the Lord. The church attendees didn't know what the band was doing, they only knew the music they played and their desire to know Jesus.
This church is on fire in the Ukraine, many have come to the Lord. All of this to say, God's ways are mysterious. We don't have it figured out. Willie's views are good, there is another side that shows the power of Jesus in ways we can't explain.
I wonder if Willie would have condemned Ruth. What she did would have been scandalous by some.
