Real Oldies on the air.

I've been reading with intrest these radio posts for about 6 months. I'm amazed how fast the news gets posted.
I wanted to take the opportunity to "plug" my show on KSER-FM 90.7 each Sunday from 11am to 1pm. It's called the Rock&Roll Time Machine and it airs live. It's mostly composed of "the songs you grew up with and probably will never hear again". It's mostly 50's and 60's with a few of the 70's thrown in for flavor. We also stream our signal at KSER.ORG. It's a public supported radio station and our stream signal can only handle about 100 users. The music I play is my passion. Hope you get a chance to listen.
Thank you,
Danny Holiday

Danny, nice to hear from you! One of the legends of Seattle radio. I listening to RnR Time Machine when you were on KZOK and KBSG. This music is slowly being lost to time, glad you are still around to spread the word. I'm probably the only guy here that has a copy of one of YOUR records - "Just to Satisfy You"/ "Little Queenie". You signed it for me at Parker's during a Paul Revere & the Raiders show circa 1993. If memory serves, that was the Viceroys backing you?

Yeah, when I was young and stupid I thought I wanted to be a R&R act. Big mistake. However, we did have fun putting those two songs together. Jimmy Hanna produced and the Viceroys did do the backing. Thanks for remembering but PLEEEEEZE don't bring it up again. lol
By the way, I'm doing an hour long show on Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and The Big Bopper at noon on Sunday. Next Tuesday, it will be FIFTY years since Buddy's last show at the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake. Stream me at KSER.ORG. Keep Rockin'

Excellent. Thanks for letting us know. It sure isn't the same in this town without DJs like you and stations like KBSG. Yours will be the perfect show to listen to right after Classic AT-40 on KJR FM. I will be tuning in.
