REAL RADIO IS BACK!!!!

Gentlemen...it's time to get out of the woods and hear a truly great radio station that's the perfect
example of what real radio is all about...it's in a little place called New York....

I listened to them make the switch on-line Thursday starting at 12:45pm and concluding at 1:01pm. They played a 15 minute through the decades montage starting out with a snippet of Old Blue Eyes singing "The Summer Wind." This song was the very last song played on CBS 101 on June 3, 2005 before the switch to JACK. Then the montage saluted the years playing excerpts from famous pop/rock songs starting with the year 1964 and ending sometime in the 80's. While they were playing the montage they wove in soundbites from famous events that happened in those decades and played several versions of the famous WCBS jingles. I'm really glad New York City has their beloved CBS 101 back. What an exciting event in radio history! 8)
