REAL TALK 1160 MORNING SHOW

So Dean Miuccio (formerly at Warm98) is doing the morning show 8/23 and 8/24. All references to Eric Deters have been removed from 1160's website and Facebook. Anyone know what's going on?
 
I like Deters on FB..and in his newsletter...etc. etc. etc.

On radio he tries too hard to be Willie. I can already listen to Willie. He just has never seemed to find his OWN style.

and as for RealTalk...I'm curious to listen to Dean. Hopefully, they don't ask him to fit their "type." The America's Morning News host screams at me every morning. Deters screamed at me. Wildman Walker screams at me. I have no interest in being screamed at. I have a wife for that. ;-)

I hear what you're saying (no pun intended).
Dean should be Dean. For the record, screaming in not our "type" it just seems to be what happened. We don't ask these guys to be Morton Downey clones.
Eric and i are still friends. Its clear that there wasn't an agreement on programming the show, though.
Also, for the record, Eric wouldn't accept those kinds of things from You know who... That is not his M.O. The guy has ethics.
 
Miuccio has been named permanent morning show host. I listened this morning for an hour or so. I like how he tried to keep the conversation at a local level. Any time I listened to Deters, it was always Obama this, Obama that. If I wanted to listen about politics, I could just listen to any one of the syndicated shows 1160 airs. I never heard Deters talk about anything from a local standpoint (except for when he had the Bengal cheerleader in studio).

Well, that was what Rob was shooting for. Local, public appearances, etc.
