Really annoying!

Most WAEB spots are annoying, but the recent Brew Works one is the worst yet. When listening to Savage and Coast To Coast it is a pity that I have to listen to this nonsense. I know WEEU does not air Savage, but I am going to try and see if I can pick it up late at night for Coast To Coast. Then in the morning I will not be awakened by that nauseating neo-con and his cronies whining like hyenas! The static may be tough but I'll endure it. Waking up to Charlie Adams will be a better option. Getting back to Brew works, the darn kid who says, "Gotta go to Brewworks" really sets me off. That is so awful!

It's a shame WEEU got rid of Savage. They used to carry him, but I'm sure the complaining old ladies caused them to pull the plug. If they still had Savage, then you could give up on WAEB once and for all. I agree with you about these goofy spots on WAEB. They sound like a high school kid made them in his basement. And the constant pointless banter on the morning show is enough to make me want to scream. Charlie Adams on WEEU may be no walk in the park, but it's sure better than this nonsense on WAEB. You can certainly tell the difference between a Clear Channel corporate station (WAEB) and a locally owned station (WEEU). My days of listening to corporate radio are over. The only radio I listen to is locally owned or college radio including stations like WDIY, WGPA, WLVR, etc.

You have to be kidding me, seriously.

The morning show on WAEB is far superior to the one in Reading and takes much more thought to produce on a day to day basis.

We are lucky to have a local morning show in our area, one that doesn't rely on music to fill the airways between the weather and sports and traffic.

Go ahead, talk him down, but BGW does a great show, day in and day out.

Do you think the morning man on EEU is capable of that?

if weeu were smart they would change format to adult standards or ask for the old bonneville reels from wfmz-fm and play ez listening. this would better serve their listening audience.

Absolutely not. Charlie Adams is capable of playing a song, mumbling, playing a song, reading a PSA, throwing it to Mitch for sports, throwing it to whoever for weather and traffic, then throwing it to the news guy. He's un-listenable and it takes no talent or preparation to do what he does.

Charlie needs to stop telling us how many 'shows' it's been and start counting down to the LAST. Time for WEEU's old guard to step aside, including Jo Painter. Their air is old and musty.
