It is really sad to see how this forum has died. In its aftermath is a bunch of junk posts from one guy about Tijuana radio stations that really don't matter.

Meanwhile, the whole saga of 105.7 FM being off the air since December 2018 has gotten pushed under and away.

There is really no point on coming on this site anymore.

The thing with XHPRS is that there are reasons, some of them Mexican political, why Jaime Bonilla might be waiting it out. Namely, he's running for governor in less than 4 months.

The station was failing. It's ratings were poor. It couldn't pay the rent on the facility it had under the Mexican equivalent of an LMA. The signal, coming from way to the SE of Tijuana, was lower powered and did not cover half the market well.

And Raymie adds additional perspective... but it's likely that the previous format and operator are not in the frequency's future.

There is nothing more to tell. Nobody is pushing the story aside because it appears that we already read the final chapter.
