According to Kiesewetter... http://cincinnati.com/blogs/tv/2012/07/05/new-gm-for-real-talk-1160/ Are Bulldog, Wildman Walker, Rick 'The Brick' and Kevin Couch getting the boot as well?

They are....
Why would anyone lump a Station Manager up with some of the current on air talent?
What does one have to do with the other?

Yes. Arbitron only shows buyers. This includes the topline or what they called "beauty contest numbers" Only buyers get to use them.billf82 said:jry said:del_griffith said:I thought things were pretty rosey at 1160/1050.

jry Is it correct that you don't have access to your own monthly PPM ratings anymore? 1160 and 1050 (among others) don't show up on the monthly Arbitron report anymore.

Goldilocks94941 said:Hey, I'm not saying "TV is better" - I'm a radio person, too. But the lack of substance on Am radio - especially in Cincinnati - has driven all but the John Birchers away from the dial. And I don't see these potential listeners coming back, no matter how loud the talk show "hosts" shout or how outrageous their antics get.
If your AM station had a generator backup for its studio and transmitter, and provided useful emergency coverage during a power outage, instead of satellite-fed stuff, you might have a point. But if my power's out, phone doesn't work, and I can't get out of my street due to fallen trees, who cares about listening to Clark Howard?
