REBA ON THE CW

I heard last night during the Reba show on the CW that the series finale will air next Sunday. Then I also read that the CW cancelled the 9 remaining episodes of the show for this season. What is going on with the CW? Reba is their highest rated comedy. Yet they keep showing other shows with lower ratings, like the Monday night comedies. I would like to see the how picked up by another network, and seeing it's produced by Fox, this would be a great show for Fox or the MY network.

I don't know what the CW is thinking in cancelling this show. Sure, Reba might not really fit in with their other comedies, but if it gets the ratings... does it really matter?

It DOESN'T get the ratings...that's why it's gone. It gets about half the viewers it did when it premiered on The WB Fridays in 2001. Plus its not making enough money to cover all the production costs. The only reason the CW took it was to 1)Keep the whining fans happy and 2) fulfill a syndication order.

At least it's getting a series finale...many shows these days aren't that lucky...

Reba is the highest rated comedy on the CW. But the CW comedies are all African American. Also it does COST more.

On a side note am I the only one that doesn't think Barbara Jean isn't as funny anymore since she lost all the weight. I still think Melissa Peterman and Reba are a great comedy team. Certainly the best one presently on TV. The two ladies play off each other brilliantly.

Lifetime may and this is very remote pick up a proposed spin off of Van and Cheyanne.

The actress playing Barbara Jean was PREGNANT. The writers of Reba didn't want to deal with a pregnancy. So, they added the whole fat/diet storyline.
