Just heard some chatter about this. She was Harold Taft's last hire there in 1991. No idea about the circumstances, but, applying the radio model to this, she was probably making too much $.

Wow, so it's indeed true. Ch 5 didn't waste a second getting her purged from the website. Pretty sad.
This was the news director's doing. Finfrock had no say in it at all.
I am pretty PO'd about this. She was one of the remaining reasons to even watch this station. They can "fire" her but leave SNYDER???? He is an idiot!
I don't watch any Channel 5 News broadcast. They are just so horrible, it is too painful to watch. Snyder is absolutely horrible. I didn't even see the movie Ron Burgundy, but Mike reminds me of Ron. He takes himself, way too seriously. I have a friend who knows him and said he is a total jerk, as well.
