Reboots

With but one exception in this list my thoughts of upgrading my big screen just took a major hit. No sense on spending money on something that will be used only for college football and hockey games.

My largest TV is 37". Big enough for all sports and movies in 1024p. There is nothing else on broadcast/cable/streaming TV that requires a screen even that size. 16x9 aspect ratio is more important than any higher resolution than 1024x1920 in my house. With my and my sig-other's poor vision at our ages, 4K is useless.

My largest is 55" but I find myself watching virtually all TV on my 24".

My current largest set is a 40 inch, but it will need to be replaced soon and considering that 50 inch sets are available now below $250 we may go to that size.

The first HDTV that I had was a 32 inch in 2009 and it was the largest set we had owned up to that time, and it still works well. Now 32 inch sets are available below $100 and are now considered one of the smallest sizes available. There are also still some 24 inch sets available.

Can’t wait, love Heather Locklear!

Watched Melrose Place when it was originally on and the reboot and to be honest the only time I really liked the reboot was when any of the original characters were on.

So with what I read it looks like it's with the original characters so hope it's really good and also Melrose Place really started to get good when Heather Locklear started as Amanda and Micheal turned into a cheating sex maniac.

I'm reminded of the continuation of Dallas on TNT a while back. Sure, some of the core cast was back, but perhaps some things are best left to occupy their place in history.
