Reboots

Apparently there's a reboot of Married With Children in the works. The reboot will feature the original cast, however it will be ANIMATED:


This was one of my favorite shows. Loved Christina Applegate. Whoa Bundy! But she retired from acting, so this may be the only way she'd do it.
 
A good show the first time around. An interesting variation on the procedural concept.

Regardless, that's why all the "X is in development" stuff the trades dutifully churn out to get clicks is dubious. Of course producers and networks are going to kick the tires on intellectual property in their stable periodically. Just as they kick the tires on new concepts. Most of each type don't see the light of day in the end, it's just doing what they're supposed to do--keep options open and look at ideas.

This is a terrible idea. How do you do an animated version of Married With Children? :rolleyes:
