Reboots

Who is going to be watching that? Because, I can tell you right now, the people who were alive when the show was on certainly aren't. Have the kids today even heard of Married With Children?

Considering the original cast is involved, and with Christina Applegate's illness she wouldn't be able to act on screen any more but can voice the character easily, probably a lot more will watch it than you think. The generation that grew up with that show (Gen X) is not anti-cartoon like the baby boomers would be.

I never liked the rebooted version on GSM. Now that they brought back the original I will watch it. Truly one of my favorite game shows growing up, along with Name that Tune.

Did you know Elizabeth Banks hosted a pilot for NTT on CBS in 2018 before getting the PYL job? I signed upvto be on there and was supposed to do a skype interview with them but could not get skype installed.

Quite a shame. CBS executives should give it another look. Fans are crying out for a rehash of old shows with a strong leading character, like a 50 something year old women, no one has seen since she was 6. I just don't understand why it wasn't tried. I can see several plot lines. Cindy, the libertarian podcaster. recently fired from a radio station over her anti gay views spends time with her psychologist trying to resolve issues about her gay father. There can be episodes where Marcia, Marcia, Marcia shows up high on coke looking for a place to crash. The very special valentines episode where brother Greg awkwardly takes Marcia to dinner. This show has potential.

Marcia was an alcoholic on The Bradys.

It's too bad they didn't try a reboot years ago when Florence Henderson was still alive, and the kids in their 30's or 40's. Robert Reed was the first actor from the series to die. The storyline could have had Carol Brady now widowed, trying to pick up the pieces and find new love. And all the adult issues being faced by the now grown up Brady kids.

Been there, done that. Remember "Still The Beaver"? Wally, Beaver, and June all reunited in a similar premise. Ward remained dead

I want to say it was Cindy, while she was working at a radio station.
The biggest problem with "The Bradys', it didn't follow Dallas' format.
Every episode was singular, for example, Cindy's/Marsha's (which character it was), alcoholism, was presented, discovered in one show.
It should have been dragged out for several weeks, money taken, the person's life getting worse etc. Even have one of them be evil for a period of time.
