Rebroadcast of local Spanish stations over LPTV

Channel 29 is now using some of its subchannels (29.10, 29.11, etc) to rebroadcast KZZA, KBOC, etc. Not that I care, anyway, but this may be a Liberman thing? I'll leave that to someone else to figure out.

It looks like KMPX is trying to pull a Digital Cable/Satellite initiative, offering music on TV. Won't be surprised if other stations pull the same thing.

It's not a bad idea especially if their radio signal is a challenged one for parts of the market. Here is another thing to consider: Not many people have table radios at home anymore or systems but DO have TVs that are already set up, many of them with real sound sytems. I see it as a smart move...

This is why Latin media in DFW will win the war. They are the mobile mammals running between the legs of the doomed dinosaurs.

The "Mexican way" as a culture is to get something done, even if it's unconventional. In some cases, this creates a few issues. When it comes to media, it creates opportunity. They aren't afraid to jump out of the routine and try a different way to be heard.

Not finding these radio rebroadcasts lately. Since digital signals are either all there or completely gone, can anyone confirm if they are still doing this? I had a 4 bay UHF attic mounted antenna in White Settlement aimed generally East.
