Anyone have any airchecks of Harry's weekend morning show? Is he still on WICK?

If so, please let me know. I'm interesting in hearing how/if he's aged at all.

Harry is on M-Sat mornings on WICK. Still sounds the same...even has Emerson on again too.

Any chance you could run some tape for me? Email me and let me know. I pay handsomely. :)

And Harry still forgets to mention the call latters during most breaks. Some things never change...

Thanks much. I'm acquainted with his KQV work from 1969-71, but never heard him in his home market, or recently (despite being in Hazelton in July)!

I ran into harry at a remote in WB in the early 90's; he was telling me how many years he had at WARM at the time..someting crazy like 22 plus years...good run considering the average turnover at most stations....Nice guy too!!

Oldies4ever

God Bless Harry West! I had the pleasure of being his morning partner for 8 months at WEJL, they had him on such a tight leash, they wouldn't let him do squat...(thank you Bill Lynett you Dick) Harry handled it with dignity and grace and the one parting shot he got in on our last show together at WEJL in 1995 (when he retired the first time)was this..."Working at this company is like working at McDonalds, they're both run by a clown...) Look it up in the WNEP archive, that man is my idol. As beaten down as they tried to make him, he still could fire a shot with the best.. harry, you're my hero...

Come on, George. Everyone knows you don't get up til the crack of noon. How and when did you ever do a morning show? BTW do you keep a lie journal to keep all the fafaphooey straight?

And yes, I do agree, Harry West will always be considered one of the greats.
