Reception oddity.

I am receiving a 103.7 "Reach FM" another CCM station that likes using translators.

It fights with WMGM and WXCY. I did a lookup and I came up with a station 120 miles away with 19 watts of power. This would be Tropo only. I think they silently acquired another translator. The reception is too consistent to be Tropo. I am in NJ about 25 miles east of of Philly.

Normally, I pick up WMGM on 103.7. I heard something different today thinking it was WXCY and maybe WMGM was on their backup transmitter or offline. Not sure how this makes any sense when you got 103.9 next door. It's a weak signal from Jenkintown, but still some radios aren't sensitive.

I have no idea how these translators are even allowed. The short spacing of 103.7 and 103.9 just makes me question how? I am waiting on WMGM and WPHI to file complaints. 94.9 and 95.3 are in better situations. Both are on interference free frequencies. 95.1 doesn't matter too much in between since the only close 95.1 is a translator.

Because 95.1 would be either WZZO Bethlehem or WAYV Atlantic City, both of which are equidistant from Philly.

95.1 in Burlington makes sense to me, but 103.7 is a head scracher for me. Since there is a 103.9 nearby, it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense. I doubt WMGM or WXCY would complain about Reach Radio though.
