Reception problem of WLS

Yes.... I have the right board.... I think. It really wouldn't make sense asking this on the Chicago board since I am sure the reception of WLS is just fine there....lol. I was driving around the other night listening to WLS. Once I got into Easton Mass the WLS signal was overridden by another station. Where is the closest station located that could overpower WLS? I have no problem getting WLS at home and I never heard a station overpower it until the other night when I got into Easton. Just curious what's on the frequency AM 890 that is fairly close to here. I didn't hear any call letters.

WAMG, Boston...25000 watts days, 6000 watts nights...very directional particularly at night...

Thank you Channel Surf. That would make sense of why WLS was overpowered the closer that I got to Boston. I had never realized that Boston had a station on that frequency.

It's actually licensed to Dedham, with the transmitter in Ashland.

Both patterns are directional almost due east. Day pattern is let out a bit to the west. Both protect WLS and also appear to give first-adjacent protection to WCBS 880 and CHML 900. Perhps Dan Strassberg and/or Scott Fybush(a new dad!)can chime in...
