WPGG was a class C1. 100kw ERP from 127 meters height. 101.1 is a class A station with 3.1kw ERP from 140 meters. There power is reduced from the 6kw that is normally allowed a class A because of there antenna height being greater than 100 meters. I would rather have the extra height than 2.9kw more power.
Given the differences in the two stations I am sure 101.1 will not have the coverage that WPGG had.
I am not sure but I think the old WPGG staff is still there.
